The cause of poor machining quality and potential subsequent damage to the spindle of the machine may be result of a reduced force with which the tool is clamped in the spindle.

In a clamping system with disc springs, the clamping force will be significantly reduced if the springs are damaged. The POWER Test indicator can be used to easily check if there is a significant reduction in clamping force.
